Three phenomenal women–author, speaker and television personality, Michelle McKinney Hammond; preacher and teacher extraordinaire, Rev. Connie “CJ” Jackson; and author, preacher and United States Ambassador of International Religious Freedom, Dr. Suzan Johnson Cook–share their endorsements of Dr. Natalie’s books which are used as the curriculum text for WOWW Institute’s onsite and online courses.  To register for courses offered by the Institute, please visit http://www.NatalieFrancisco.com.

MICHELLE MCKINNEY HAMMOND:http://www.WisdomforWomenofWorthandWorship.com

“It has been saidin order to be great one should surround themselves with greatness.  Or as I would rather put it: “If you want tobe successful you whould walk with those who have already accomplished what you are trying to achieve.”  That is why I am so excited about this offering fro my dear friend, Natalie Francisco.

“Here is a woman who is doing more than talking the talk.  She is truly walking the walk.  And that walk is reflected brilliantly in the life of her family: her husband is known in the gates and respected; her children rise up and not only call her blessed but bless her in return by living lives that glorify God and are a tribute to her as a mother.  Has she earned the right to pen Wisdom for Women…?  Indeed she has!  Natalie has been a student first and a fine one at that. She has mastered the art of being a woman according to God’s design, an amazing friend, a wife who is a true “help meet,” and a mother who has guided her daughters toward their destiny effectively…whew!

“If you’re thinking to yourself: This is the type of woman I want to be then this book is for you.  Natalie shares not only from her heart and her experiences but also from the sound principles of God’s Word, which will never lead you wrong.  Warm, funny, personal and transparent-she will connect with you where you live.  You will not only see her wisdom, but you will also see yourself and the things you can glean from what she shares.

“In a time when many have abandoned the call to “teach the younger women…” Natalie Francisco emerges as a true Titus woman.  As a modern day Proverbs 31 woman, she proves we can all be the women God created us to be if we are armed with the right truths to work with.  So take the time to read, to absorb, and then apply these rich lessons to your ownlife.  But don’t just stop there.  Share the wealth with others.  Wisdom for Women of Worth and Worship is a jewel of a book that has the potential to change the world one home at a time.”

REV. CONNIE “CJ” JACKSON:        http://www.ParentingandPartneringwithPurpose.com

“Let the Old School principal of the “Three R’s” meet the New School Superintendent of the “Three P’s!”  Dr. Natalie Francisco in her recent literary work, Parenting and Partnering with Purpose, takes to task the public, the parish, and the parent for the role each has played in hastening the demise of quality education in our country.  Dr. Francisco is well qualified to offer this well documented critique since she is no novice to initiating cutting edge, Christocentric methodology in the classroom.  However, this book is more than a critique of an age-old problem; Dr. Natalie offers tried and true solutions.  This book is a must-read for any pastor, parent, educator, or school administrator who is serious about preparing our children to have dominion over an increasingly hostile and agnostic world.”

REV. DR. SUZAN JOHNSON COOK:                http://www.AWomansJournalforJoyfulLiving.com

“It was three years ago that I was introduced, by the Rev. Connie “C.J.: Jackson, to the author of this profound and timely book, Rev. Natalie Francisco.  Rarely, as female leaders in ministry, are we able to find friends and extended family who not only know how to preach, but also LIVE what they preach.  I found all of that in Rev. Nat, as we affectionately call her.  She has the whole package: family, friends, wholeness in life and in ministry.  We were the sister-friends we all longed and looked for all of our lives.  So I latched on quickly.

“Soon, we were leading one another’s services and workshops and being introduced to balanced family and life outside of the pulpit.  I was able to see the incredible ministry she had build: Women of Worth and Worship, and found that she could lead such a ministry so effectively because she IS a woman of Great Wisdom and Worth.  Thousands of women have been blessed by her leadership and her generous giving.

A Woman’s Journal for Joyful Living: Successful Steps to Holistic Health is the compilation of and manifestation of a recent workshop I was privileged to host for international Christian faith leaders: Wisdom Women Worldwide/Women in Ministry International.  It is POWERFUL.  I am especially drawn to the first chapter, FREE TO BE ME, because it sets the tone for the book.  So many women are spiritually, emotionally, and physically in bondage and don’t even know it, or some just need to give themselves permission to be free.  Fifteen minutes into the book, you will be captivated and ready to begin to do a personal life assessment.  You will be energized.  You will be charged and eager to read the remaining chapters.

“She is like Mary, a woman who is blessed and highly favored.  Her husband is blessed, her children, and her household are all blessed because she is such a blessing to others.  And you will find as you read this book that YOU are blessed just by becoming part of her audience.

“It is an honor to commend this book to you.  May the JOY of the Lord be your strength as you move closer towards JOYFUL LIVING.”

About 235 people gathered on Friday, October 7, 2011, not just to hear the smooth keyboarding skills of Gospel Jazz Artist Ben Tankard, but to test the Proverb that suggests that laughter does for the soul what medicine does for the body. We had no idea that we would receive the double benefit of ministry through music and healing through humor. To add a cherry to the top, we were able to provide much needed funds to Courtney’s House from our benefit concert ticket sales and the profits from the purchase of WOWW Cosmetics.

On Saturday morning, over 130 women returned to hear Rev. Connie Jackson from Houston, TX to talk about Sisters and Sex during the first general session. Not one person attended who did not leave armed with knowledge about her own body that she could share with other women and particularly, the younger daughters that we help to mold and mentor. Following Rev. CJ’s session, Leadership Scholar Lori Hobson shared an informative workshop on the topic, I Met The Man of My Dreams and Then I Woke Up! Women who attended this workshop as well as Houston’s Prudential Representative Allyson Bailey-Leonard’s Sisters Serving Ourselves workshop, got more than they bargained for. Personality traits, leadership styles and a gamut of financial goals were shared to give wisdom insight and foresight into designing the quality of life that is unique to their own desires. Pastor Louvenia Pride from Rocky Mount, NC and Courtney’s House founder and executive director Tina Frundt helped us all to discover the strength that lies within us as sisters when we determine not to settle for mediocrity and to use what God has placed within and around us as resources meant to share with those who need them the most. We were challenged to keep on standing, serving and sharing within the context of our families, churches, communities and world. Calvary’s Youth Pastor, Minister Lesley Francisco, also served as a blessing to the many middle and high school aged young ladies who attended from public and private schools throughout the Hampton Roads community including the Peninsula and Southside. She addressed the question, “Can I Be Cool and Still Serve Christ?” and then succeeded with the mission of getting youth who attended “Focused and On Fire” with their relationship with God and ideas about channeling their attention towards how they can serve God with their unique gifts and talents.

As founder and executive director of WOWW, LLC, I was honored to once again host our 10th annual WOWW Conference which included a special luncheon recognizing WOWW Institute graduates, female clergy, pastors wives and other ladies who are leading in their own right. I spoke on the subject of Sisters Supporting Sisters to encourage prayer for and networking with those in attendance, especially after the conference ended. During the afternoon general session, I had the opportunity to share that 132 women had been mentored through the WOWW Institute as a result of completing one of the eight-week courses of study offered onsite at Calvary Community Church in Hampton, VA and online for out-of-state students. Three WOWWI graduates received Awards of Distinction during that session unbeknownst to them. Dorene Hill accepted the Virtue Award; Xiomara Harris was presented with the Value Award; and Sheila Dillard accepted the Victory Award in the memory of her sister Loretta Brown who was also a WOWWI graduate. Loretta recently and unexpectedly died, and although she is now in the presence of our loving Lord, not a dry eye was in the place while women who knew her and Sheila and their entire family stood to lend their love and support. After the award presentations, I shared with attendees how their support of WOWW events, products and services has helped to save souls, transform lives, donate needed funds as well as goods and services to 7 community charities and bless other women and their families across the country and around the world. I also shared the following new offerings that will be introduced in 2012:

* A Woman’s Journal for Joyful Living Eight-Week Course, Thursday Evenings, 7:30-9pm at Calvary Community Church and online simultaneously using Skype ($100 per person offered in February, May and August)

* Principles of Leadership Seminar, Saturday Morning, 9am – 12pm in Calvary Community Church’s Multi-purpose Room (January 28, 2012, April 28, 2012 and July 28, 2012)

The Principles of Leadership Seminars will be held from 9 am until 12 noon on Saturdays in the multi-purpose room of Calvary Community Church.
Each seminar will be offered free of charge to Calvary Community Church Leaders and at a cost of $50 per person for others who register at http://www.NatalieFrancisco.com beginning in January.  The classes will cover principles related to Ethics in Leadership and Leadership Styles (January 28, 2012), Emotional Intelligence and Communication/People Skills (April 28, 2012) and Goal Setting and Time Management Techniques (July 28, 2012).  Each seminar will build upon the other.

* WOWW Island Flavor Sunday and Bahama Mama Cruise, Sunday, October 28, 2012

During our Sunday Morning Worship Services at Calvary, Bishop L. W. Francisco III challenged us to consider and assess the relationships we have either strategically placed around us or settled for in the form of confidantes, companions or colleagues. Gospel Today Magazine Founder and CEO Dr. Teresa Hairston spoke from our conference theme of Sisters Standing, Serving and Sharing just as the first century church in the book of Acts did amongst themselves. We were moved to be about the action of having all things in common as we focused upon meeting the needs of the helpless and hurting through prayer and practical acts of love. And we ended both of our morning worship services by celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness month and giving pink carnations and roses to survivors and family members of those who succumbed to the disease. Women were encouraged to receive mammograms as early detection can save a life, and often does, as was evident in the life of my mother-in-law, Mother Naomi Francisco who is not just a breast cancer survivor but a thriver with the testimony of an overcomer!

For CDs and DVDs of the entire conference, please call 757-825-1133 x 200. The CD series is available for only $25 and the DVD series is available for only $35.

Continue to keep abreast of all the WOWW events, seminars, onsite and online courses and products such as new products and services that will be introduced in 2012. Check back often at http://www.NatalieFrancisco and share each month’s newsletter with your circle of friends. There’s so much in store for you and the women you know as we go about the mission of Mentoring Women of Worth and Worship for Kingdom Living and Giving. Join the mission and make a difference with the life you’ve been given.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Dr. Natalie Francisco Guides Women on a Journey to a
Fulfilling and Joyful Life in Her Latest Book

ATLANTA, GA, (January 14, 2011) – As the founder of a national women’s ministry, the Women of Worth and
Worship Institute, Dr. Natalie A. Francisco has had years of experience ministering to, mentoring, and counseling women from all walks of life. In her latest book, A Woman’s Journal for Joyful Living: Successful Steps to Holistic Health, Natalie Francisco shares part of her life’s experiences and eight key lessons that will help women discover the secrets to living a joyful and successful life.

As Dr. Suzan Johnson Cook, founder of Wisdom Women Worldwide, writes in the foreword, “So many women are spiritually, emotionally, and physically in bondage and don’t even know it… Fifteen minutes into the book, you will be captivated and ready to begin to do a personal life assessment. You will be energized. You will be charged and eager to read the remaining chapters.”

The powerful lessons Natalie Francisco shares in each of the eight chapters encourage women to face reality, assess the important relationships in their lives, take the time to begin caring for themselves spiritually, mentally and physically, and as Francisco writes, ‘to utilize the mental and moral power within them to transform their present state of mind, spirit, and body into what it was originally designed to be in its best, brightest, and most brilliant form.’

Dr. Natalie A. Francisco has served as co-pastor of Calvary Community Church and co-founder of Calvary Christian Academy in Hampton, VA alongside her husband, Bishop L. W. Francisco III. She has also served extensively in full-time ministry for over 26 years in areas of leadership in both the Music and Arts and Christian Education departments of her local church.

The culmination of her years of experience in relating to women and children of all ages have been instrumental in affording her the opportunity to author three books: Wisdom for Women of Worth & Worship: Lessons for a Life of Virtue, Value & Victory; Parenting and Partnering with Purpose: Linking Homes, Schools and Churches to Educate Our Children; and A Woman’s Journal for Joyful Living: Successful Steps to Holistic Health (all published by St. Paul Press).

Although Dr. Francisco has served as a motivational speaker, teacher, worship leader and author, her greatest joys are found in serving God, spending time with her family and friends, and practicing self-care.
